Job Description: Good knowledge and working experience in any RDBMS. Strong in Unix (awk/sed) and C, ability to debug / fine-tune SQL statements. Experience in Coding, debugging / testing, release management. Should be able to communicate effectively (oral/written).Experience in IS0 related activities. Experience Level: 5 + years of experience. Primary Skills: Strong in Unix, C, PL/SQL / Pro C or any RDBMS.
You will be responsible for understanding customer needs and business processes, and support implementation of OSS Products. Should be able to assist customers in integrating products from different vendors, handling of product upgrades, product acceptance testing, onsite services for problem resolution including escalation of problems to various levels in the product development team.
Should have good working knowledge of C, HP-UX and RDBMS. Should be strong in problem solving and analytical skills, Debugging and Reviews. Should have excellent communication.Should be able to interact well with the customer.Manage a team. Very good customer facing skills, and strong problem solving skills are a must.
Secondary Skills: Good Communication, Work in a team and ability to network and experience in Quality Processes and standards. Prior experience: Should have led a team of around 5 + Experience in offshore/onsite development model. Background in Telecom would be added advantage. Prior Experience in Telecom domain, C, Unix, Java.
