Essential Functions (Responsibilities): The person shall have VC++ Exposure with awareness of backend database like mySQL / MS Access as core requirement. Familiarity to Serial communication protocol. The Candidate shall preferably have an exposure to JSP(Java Servlet Programming) / experience with web enabling applications. Provide software upgrades for legacy Total Lighting Controls product line.
As Part of Global Equipment Technology team will be working on Product support function Will be responsible for the integrity of the design & documentation to GE / certification standards. Need to work alongwith Product Owners for necessary information. Support Product Owner in solving critical Quality issues
Software development and integration of Total Lighting Controls product and Smart Fixtures. Develop and support web interface for Total Lighting Controls and Smart Fixtures. Learn and follow the GELS NPI process. Integrate fully with the GELS/TLC/ATC/IBC engineering team to produce the World's Best Lighting and Controls package.
Qualifications/ Requirements: B-Tech in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering / MCA with more than 2 years of experience in C, Java, VC++ and Web Designing. Demonstrated project management Skills. Good Team player. Good Communication Skills. Desired: Green Belt Certified.
