Key Responsibilities:Managing day-to-day support requests from the KL office, Supporting Microsoft infrastructure, Supporting third party business systems, Managing Unix lab/development infrastructure, Managing user accounts.
Deploying and supporting PCs and laptops, Running daily backups, Network maintenance, Telephone system management. Previous Experience :Minimum of two years working in IT Support, Minimum of one year working with Unix/Linux. Skills, Knowledge and Experience : Microsoft :Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2003, McAfee EPO, WSUS, SQL Server Unix :SuSE Linux (other Linux is also useful).
Solaris 8 and/or 10,Samba Winbind, NFS, Bash scripting, CVS / Subversion, XEN, VMWare Hardware :Laptop/Desktop support, Sun Fire Servers, x86 Servers. Networking :CAT5 Cabling/Patching, Juniper WX. Security: Good awareness, IPSec VPN, Juniper Netscreen Firewall. Key Skill Sets: BSc in Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or appropriate related experience required, industry experience related to product development.
Technical product management and/or technical sales of telecoms-related solutions.Direct experience in one or more of the following areas:Mobile core network infrastructure, including elements such as MSC, GGSN, SGSN, CSCF, HSS/HLR, IN and Prepaid systems, GSM/GPRS network architecture, ANSI/CDMA network architecture. Team worker; able to lead and influence others to achieve objectives, Experienced and comfortable giving presentations to customers and large organisations.
