Responsibilities: Join the technology team and utilize your software skills to develop real-time embedded software used in our next generation turbine control products: The individual is expected to work in a dynamic environment where they will be resposible for defining their software deliverables, tasking their work and meeting their schedules. Technical responsibilities include: Software definition, design, implementation and testing.
Qualification/Requirements: Graduate / Post Graduate in Engineering in Electronics and/or Instrumentation. 1-3 years in real time embedded software development using structured / object oriented software design. Demonstrated experience with C/C++ programming in a real time embedded environment. Knowledge of assembly language programming a plus.
Experience with any Real time operating system . Preferably QNX 4 / QNX 6. Experience with Intel x86 microprocessors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. Experience working in a team environment and self-starter with a high level of energy and initiative.
Assisting individuals and teams with data mining and analysis requests. Should be a proactively interacting with various individuals/teams. Documenting the knowledge and requirements. Good presentation, communication skills. Desired: Experience with QNX OS will be a plus. Multi threaded programming experience. Knowledge of PLC and DCS a plus.
